A common question I get is where are the best places to meet younger women?
For older men like myself, you want to find places not only where younger women hangout but also that will have less competition from younger guys.
Here’s many of my top places to meet younger women:
Shopping Places
If there’s one thing that women love to do, it’s SHOP. And if there’s one thing men hate to do, it’s shop. So when you go to places that women tend to go to buy stuff, there will be many women and a select few men.
The best choices are large shopping areas, such as malls, or stores like Walmart or Target. Anywhere that clothes are sold, women will be there.
You can even think broader than clothing stores…think furniture and home decorating stores like Ikea or Bed Bath & Beyond.
The grocery store or local farmer’s market is another great place to find lots of women shopping. A good time frame is between 4 to 6 pm because women will be stopping by to pick up something before going home. Weekends are also a good time to go, especially Sunday mornings.

Most bookstores today have coffee shops in them, where many women like to sit, usually by themselves, to read or study. Don’t overlook women roaming the book isles looking for something of interest to read.
Parties
Parties are a great place to meet younger women because there’s usually a good social-circle of contact involved. As an older man, I would target wedding receptions, funeral events and holiday parties.
Hotels
This one might surprise you. However, hotels are amazing places to meet younger women. Target major four and five star hotels in your area that host events or cater to vacationers and the like.
These places usually have bars, restaurants, and poolside areas where people natural gather.
Many times, you’ll find younger women from out of town relaxing at hotels, and maybe they’re lonely, or bored or just looking for some fun. Sometimes they will be with co-workers, sometimes with friends or family and sometimes they’ll even be by themselves.
If you’re a native of the area, and a woman is in town for a while, you can offer to show her around town because you know the best places to go, right?
Sometimes you’ll even find local women who like to go to hotels to hang out because of a more laid back atmosphere than your typical bar or club.
Learning Centers
Schools, community colleges and other educational establishments/classes are goldmines for meeting younger women.
Community colleges are especially good because it’s easy for you to take a class such as an extension or evening class. Don’t forget to hangout in the library, student union or cafeteria, etc. where students congregate.
Community classes sponsored by the city for all types of subjects are great such as a language class, photography class, wine making, art class, etc.
Check to see if any local retailers hold classes for their customers that cater to women that you can join.
Participate in Sports and Hobbies
The best way to meet younger women is to appeal to a common interest. If you pursue things you are passionate about, chances are you will eventually meet women who enjoy the same thing.
For example, if you enjoy playing volleyball and you have an active beach nearby, go down and see if you can play a game.
Hobbies and clubs are excellent ways to meet women. If you’re an avid collector of something, go to a convention. Chances are you’ll see women there who are into your type of collection, too. Every major hobby has some type of major event where people gather to share their passion.
Charitable Organizations/Events
Many women participate in charitable organizations. It’s in their nurturing nature to help others.
Attend charitable events or volunteer some of your time at the local food bank or local Habitat for Humanity branch and the like. Showing your caring side is very attractive to quality women.
These are some great ideas for places to meet younger women. Don’t stop here. Keep brainstorming where younger women hangout in your area and start going there.
